Greece is a beautiful country.
However, there are few places as beautiful as Vathi, the capital of the island of Odysseus- Ithaki.

The beautiful stone house is located 400 meters from the bay in Vathi and, on the other hand, only 1,800 meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe - Sarakiniko.

The location of the house on the hills surrounding Vathi almost always ensures a light breeze even on the hottest days.

The subject of the concept is the renovation and modernisation of a residential building , a 1-storey building located in Vathi, on the island of Ithaki, Greece.
The building was constructed in 1953. The structure of the building is a reinforced concrete skeleton filled with natural stone walls. Inside, the ceiling of the first floor and the attic were made with wooden beams covered with boards. The roof truss carries the roof, not insulated, covered with ceramic tile " veneziana".
The building is located on a slope, on both sides of which a staircase leads to the entrance at first-floor level from the garden.
The façade of the building shows the doors and windows of the ground and ground floor.
